Happening Now

Outside doors to be locked at 8 a.m.
Principal Ted Fuller announced March 6 that in an ongoing effort to make changes that will result in a more secure facility, the following exterior doors will be locked at 8 a.m. and remain locked for the remainder of the school day:
* Door in the hallway leading to rooms 104 and 105.
* West side door (art wing) leading to staff lot.
* Door in the industrial arts hallway leading to the 400 building.
* South door (Westside) to main gym.
* Cafeteria doors to bus loop.
* Custodial area door to bus loop.

Phones no longer allowed in hallways
Starting this month, students are no longer allowed to use cell phones in the hallways at Sentinel High School. Students will be allowed to use their phones during passing periods and lunch time, but if a student is out of class on a pass, Principal Ted Fuller is asking teachers to have students leave their phones in the classroom.

In the next episode of Spartan TV, Josh Cook takes to the halls to see how students and staff feel about this new rule.
Basketball teams head to state tournament
The boys and girls basketball teams head to the AA State Basketball Tournament later today. Both teams are the Western Divisional Champions, placing them at the number one seeds going into the tournament tomorrow.
The boys will play Billings Senior Thursday, March 8 at 8 p.m. The girls kick off against Bozeman at 10:30.
The tournament is March 8-10 at the Rimrock Auto Arena at MetraPark, Billings.
